MEET THE TEAM
Monica Fisher - President/Owner
I came to work at Fisher Tire in 2008 after my husband the founder and owner Jim Fisher passed away. My true focus then as it is now was to keep Fisher Tire and Auto open and running. As I look back on the past years, I am thankful that I did keep my focus. My whole working experience is based on good Customer Service. I started my work career as an Office Worker in a Manufacturing Plant in Pennsylvania. Getting my Beauty License in Pennsylvania and Maryland allowed me many years working as a Hair Stylist. I decided to go back into office work and became an Executive Assistant to the Regional Manager of Mercedes-Benz of North America. It is there that I received top notch Customer Relations training.
After Mercedes-Benz, I worked for the Chief Financial Officer of Mercantile Bancshares. I moved to Westminster in 1998 and finished my AA degree at Carroll Community College. I have three adult children Kristen, Tom, Sarah, and three Grandsons, Josh, Jake and Tommy.
Now, that I run an Automotive and Tire Shop, I’m realizing the importance of my training in Customer Satisfaction. I know that my technician, Matt Spriggs, shares my vision for Fisher Tire and Auto and that is offering our customers good old fashion customer service.
Matt Spriggs - Head Auto Technician
Matt has been an Auto Technician for Fisher Tire and Auto Service for over 35 years. He started here while he was still in high school. Matt is a Maryland State Inspector and is a Top Notch auto and light truck technician. He loves to work on old cars and features his own classic cars in auto shows across the mid-atlantic area. Matt is an expert in custom exhausts. His years of experience have made Matt a proven problem solver and auto diagnostician.
Second to none, Matt is responsible for running much of Fisher Tire and Auto Service repair and tire services.
